Young Adults
(ages 9-21):
Beginning Ceramics
Students will be introduced to the basics of ceramics from hand building to
glazing and firing. Students will make masks, serving bowls, decorative figurines, and anything else the imagination produces.

Tuesday: 4pm-6pm
Beginning Drawing & Printmaking
Create images and designs from drawings, and then make multiple copies using linoleum blocks, silk-screen and other printing techniques. This class is a great introduction to drawing and the prints could be used to make greeting cards, tee-shirts and posters.

Beginning & Intermediate Painting
Work from the still life, figure and landscape using a wide range of materials including charcoal, pastels and water-based paint. Learn drawing techniques and develop paintings based on your interests and experiences.

Comic Books
Do you like reading Batman, Spider-Man or just "comics" in general? Well, it's time to take control of your very own adventure! Learn the secrets of dynamic storytelling. Develop your individual art style and create your own comic! This course will combine the wonderful phenomenon of making comics with traditional drawing techniques.

Intermediate & Advanced Ceramics
Explore advanced methods of building vessels by hand, wheel throwing, and sculpting using various clay bodies, oxide glazes and stain techniques. Study the history of this ancient form of cultural expression.

(Ages 13-21):
Oil Painting
Learn the principles of oil painting with medium on canvas while working from still life, the model and landscapes. No experience is needed, just a desire to grow as a painter and to have a great time!
