Why I Teach: “
Over the course of my career as a visual artist, I have had the honor of working as an arts educator with diverse audiences. My primary approach to arts education for individuals from many walks of life is through personal connections. Everyone has a point of view: a story to tell, an interest to pursue, a vision, dream, or possibility to express visually. As a multidisciplinary artist, I'm committed to fostering personal connections to art through a variety of mediums that speak to the strengths and interests of the learner. Whether working within photography, drawing, painting, or sculptural installation, my goal is to assist every child, teenager, and adult to reach their fullest potential as creative thinkers and members of our cultural community.
