BRAC Storytime
September 20 - November 15 • Live
BRAC Storytime is a free, 25-minute program designed for students in the BRAC Arts Program as well as children from the surrounding community. Each session invites children to listen to a thoughtfully selected story read aloud by BRAC staff or volunteers. The stories will reflect themes that align with BRAC’s core values: celebrating cultural identity, fostering creativity, or encouraging environmental awareness.
Join us on September 20th to read Tar Beach by Faith Ringgold, an acclaimed artist who seamlessly weaves fiction, autobiography, and African American history into a magical story that resonates with the universal wish for freedom, and will be cherished for generations!
