BRONX NOW, on view July 14 to September 8, 2018, is an exhibition that explores the community of Bronx-based artists creating remarkable work outside of traditional spheres. Curated by Laura N James and Eileen Walsh, who work under the name BXNYCreative, BRONX NOW seeks to expand interest in Bronx artists. Opening reception is July 14.

The exhibit features artists with portfolios on BX200.COM is comprised of sculpture, work on paper, photography, painting, graffiti, and live performance. BX200 Bronx Visual Artist Directory is an online artist community that launched in December of 2014. The group uses the virtual world as a tool to bring the artwork of 200 Bronx-based artists to the general public.

DIRECTIONS TO CENTER:  By Train: Take #2 or #5 to West Farms Square/East Tremont. Walk one block east to Bronx Street. By Bus: Take #'s B9, 21, 36, 40, 42, or Q44 to East Tremont and Boston Road. By Car: Take Bruckner Expressway to Sheridan Expressway, and exit at East Tremont Ave. Turn left at the traffic light one block down onto East Tremont. Turn left after one block onto Bronx St. (Cross Bronx Expressway) towards Rosedale Ave, then exit. Turn left onto Rosedale Ave, then take a left onto Tremont Ave. Drive four blocks to West Farms Square.
