Teaching Artist Michael Alfred Tudor Jr., a graduate of University of the Arts in Philadelphia, will be guiding students through the world of sequential art in the form of comic strips. Separated spatially on the page, the comic panels represent the passage of time. The class will incorporate the instructor's experience of over 10 years of experience as an illustrator/graphic designer, to teach how to illustrate movement. Starting from the basics like stippling, line art, shapes and abstract art we will learn how to plan and create sequential art. The workshops will culminate in a final project of a 4 page comic strip that shows motion.

Sign up for one, two or all three workshops! Space is limited, only sign up for the workshops you will be attending.

Workshops are free, but donations are appreciated!

Suggested Donation:

Youth (Age 10 - 18) $5 ** Adult $10 ** Senior $8
