Fine Artist, Judy Mannarino will hold a 2 day workshop instructing the students on how to hand-build flowers out of clay. During the first workshop the students will be taught basic hand-building techniques to create beautiful realistic and imaginary flowers. The work will be fired in the kiln and during the second workshop the students will glaze their creations which will be fired as well. All of the students are welcome to take their flowers home or they can donate some of their work that will become part of a large installation of ceramic flowers; a project Ms. Mannarino is currently working on. All student's who wish to donate some flowers to the project will receive credit when the work is exhibited. Funds for this workshop and project have been provided by "New York City Artist Corps".
